Celebrate Go Skateboarding Day with The Shred Indoor Skatepark’s interactive event on 21 June 2019, 9am–5pm.

WHAT IS GO SKATEBOARDING DAY?
This annual holiday was started in California by former freestyle champion and artist, Don Brown and created by the International Association of Skateboard Companies to promote skateboarding. The day is celebrated on 21 June because that is the longest day of the American summer.

SKATE, WATCH AND WIN
You can work up a sweat and sharpen your skating skills with tuition from some of The Shred’s instructors. . And even if you don’t skate, you can cheer the skaters on from the sidelines while enjoying the entertainment and giveaways plus something to drink and nibble on from The Shred’s coffee shop.

MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT
Dank Bank Alliance, a collective of South Africa’s upcoming artists, DJs, producers and vocalists, will be providing the tunes on the day. They’ll also be teaching kids how to MC and giving them a go on the microphone.
Prizes on the day will be goods from brands like SkullCandy and Dank Bank Alliance.
TICKETS TO GO SKATEBOARDING DAY
Tickets cost R30 per person at the door.
