Spend a day experimenting with unique wine pairing platters in Cape Town
There aren’t many things that excite us more than wine and food - but if we’re honest, put those two together and then we have ourselves the only way to spend an afternoon! Wine pairing is one of the Four Cousins unique specialities because not only is their wine a fabulous blend of delicious (we will tell you more about that - don’t worry) their tasters are treats you wouldn’t normally think of, but work splendidly.
Think about the sweetness of a sweetie pie, the chewy yet delicious taste of a toffee square and the all round awesomeness of a powdered piece of nougat - is your mouth salivating yet? Ours most certainly is and we haven’t even mentioned the best part…the alcohol of course! This, Scottish Cousin Pairing includes a new addition to the Four Cousins Family as it is a range of distinguished whiskies, which are perfect even for an unrefined whisky palate like ours.
The Four Cousins Sparkling Pairing is another favourite for us, because we are besotted with the idea of cheese and meringue tasters with a champagne flute in our hands - are you thinking fabulous Facebook cover photos too? The sparkling wine range caters for a variety of preferences; from Sauvignon Blanc Brut, White, Pink and Red. The pink and red Brut’s are perfect for those with a sweet tooth like ours!
We love how the textures and tastes of the food complements the Four Cousins drinks.
Tip: Make a day of it on a Saturday or Sunday, take a couple friends and enjoy a day of platters in Robertson.
