'Boom, boom, boom, I want you in my room!’ The 90s is making a comeback with the arrival of much-loved pop group the Vengaboys to South African shores. And lucky for Cape Town Eurodance fans, this four-piece outfit is bringing their catchy tunes and over-the-top costumes to dazzle audiences at GrandWest Arena on Sunday, 14 December 2014.
Founded just before the turn of the millennium, the Vengaboys produced some undeniably catchy dance floor tunes, like ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom!!’ , ‘We’re Going To Ibiza’ and ‘Up & Down’, that got crowds movin’ and shakin’ all around the world. The pop sensation disbanded in the early 2000s after a successful career - they sold 20 million singles and five million albums worldwide - but have recently begun touring again.
Fans can look out for their signature hits as well as some of the newer material, like ‘Hot, Hot, Hot’ and ‘2 Brazil’. So, revisit the 90s and take your friends out for a catchy Euro-pop night filled with legendary tunes and disco dance moves.
