Table Mountain Specials for the kids

Share the wonders of South Africa’s most celebrated mountain with your children during the Table Mountain Cableway’s Kidz Season

Table Mountain has come up with a wonderful variety of specials for our little ones.  Ranging from free cable rides to café specials to a photo competition, this season you will have no reason not to visit the nominated ‘7th wonder of the world’. 

Soar through the clouds, soak up crisp clean air, hunt for dassies or fynbos flowers, and marvel at the most photographed views in South Africa. Then take part in the kiddies’ treasure hunt before heading to the Table Mountain Café for pizza and hot chocolate – the perfect ending to a fun family experience.

As a part of the Kidz Season experience, all children will be given a treasure hunt map and a Kidz Season armband on arrival. Kids can win fun prizes when using the treasure hunt map, and will also receive a 10% discount on specially marked items at the Shop at the Top when they present their Kidz Season armband.

A special entertainment programme for kids will be running during the school holidays featuring magic and puppet shows, face painting and craft activities.

The full Kidz Season is only valid on Weekends | Public Holidays | School Holidays


Free Cableway rides during Kidz Season!

-  Two children under 18 ride for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult
-  The full-paying adult must be in possession of a return ticket
-  The Kidz Season ticket can only be purchased from the ticket office at the Lower Cable Station.

Table Mountain Café special for kids!

The Table Mountain Café will offer a pizza slice plus a hot chocolate at R26.50p/p (for under-18s only).

How to enter: Calling all kids! Complete the entry form on the Table Mountain website and submit your funny photograph taken on Table Mountain to stand a chance of winning a party for you and 9 of your friends!
