Unique things to do for Father’s Day
Stargazing tour, racing simulators, vineyard lunches + more
A prequel to the much-loved Rocking the Daisies live music festival, Sowing the Seeds brings together 15 artists at Zula Sound Bar on Saturday, 1 September for a sneak peek of the performances and good vibrations that look to define the larger, October outdoor party.
Utilising Zula Bar’s three stages – Upstairs Live Stage, Downstairs Electronic Stage and the Beat Balcony Stage – the mini-music fest offers areas that cater to different genres, appeasing most music tastes. Besides great dance music and live bands, organisers are doing giveaways throughout the night, and patrons stand a chance to win Rocking the Daisies tickets. The Big Issue will also be launching their bumper music edition, just in time to up the ante for the Rocking the Daisies festivities.

Known for its good food, great music and diverse crowd, Zula Bar – a longtime Long Street institution - is now bigger and better than ever before. So, in short, there’s no telling where the night might take you.
Presale tickets are available at R100p/p via Webtickets.co.za, and normal tickets are on sale at the door at R120p/p.
