MORE ABOUT MAYNARDVILLE IN CAPE TOWN
The Maynardville Open-Air Theatre can be found in the popular Maynardville Park (also known as Wynberg Park) in Wynberg in the Southern Suburbs. The park boasts some stunning flora and has become one of the most popular outdoor theatre venues in the region. A large wooded park area is especially popular for pre-show picnics. There’s even a playground to keep the little ones entertained.
The park opens at 7am and closes at 7pm in summer, so why not pack a picnic and enjoy some leisure time outdoors before the show? For those who don’t want to pack treats, there will be light refreshments on sale around the stage.
