Lace-up your takkies, slap on your running shorts and even bring your pooch, if you have one, for a virtual run all about saving dogs with Crew Runners SA on 27 June.

TEAMING UP FOR A CAUSE
Crew Runners SA is teaming up with Aid 4 Animals in Distress rescue organisation to raise funds for injured and abandoned dogs in the Kirstenhof area and surrounds. On the last Saturday of the month, join in for a virtual run where all proceeds will go to the Aid4Aids monthly vet bill.
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Depending on how you feel you can run either the 5km or 10km options, and for those who’d like to run a little further, you can. Social distancing rules still apply. This means no group running, but instead, you can keep track of your own time.
Before the race, you can download any running tracker app of your choice. When your race is over, send your distance and time to crewrunnerssouthafrica@gmail.com.
A BRIGHT AND EARLY START
The run will kick off bright and early at 8am. Everyone is welcome to enter and can do so by emailing Crew Runners SA your full name. You’ll then receive your race number which you can pin to your shirt the day of the race.
There will be drop-in points in both Seapoint and Greenpoint where you can donate and grab a morning coffee. You can use #RUN4AID as the reference when making your donation via EFT or Snapscan.
