THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A LACK OF COMPETITORS.
---
Lithe and limber ladies, sexy spinners and South Africa’s most talented tricksters are invited to come strut their stuff at Cape Town’s premier gentleman’s club, Mavericks, on Friday, 6 June 2014 in the fourth heat of the Pole Dance Championship. This knockout round of competition is one of eight monthly try-outs that will ultimately culminate in a grand final in November 2014 (the heats are scheduled for the first Friday of every month).
Vivacious vixens stand a chance to win R2000, a sushi platter and a chance to compete for a spectacular R25 000 prize at the main event if they come out in pole position for their heat.
And those who are more into watching the stage than working it can come enjoy the contest and cheer for their favourite while taking in the perks of being in the always-entertaining Mavericks.
How to Enter the Pole Dance Championship at Mavericks
All entrants must be female and must send through a brief biography and one full-body picture at least 24 hours before the event. Registration will take place at 9:30pm on the night, and entrants must come with a clearly marked CD and a routine that should be three to five minutes long. The competitor and a friend will receive complimentary entry to the Mavericks Revue Bar on the night.
Terms and conditions
Visit Mavericks.co.za or email poledancer@mavericks.co.za for full terms and conditions or queries.
Tickets to the Pole Dance Championship at Mavericks
Entry to the main floor is R50p/p for ladies and R100p/p for gentlemen. Access to the VIP area costs R200p/p in addition to the entrance fee. Doors open at 7pm and close at 4am.
The competition will run between 10pm and 11pm, and the winner will be announced by 1am.
