JAM TO LOCAL ARTISTS AT V&A
Start your year off on a high note and watch a live music performance. The V&A Waterfront will be hosting another Take the Stage event on the first day of the new year. This event aims to give a platform to emerging South African musicians to showcase their talents. Sonik Citizen, a lyrical soul-rock trio fresh to the music scene, will be performing at Pierhead Deck. No need to book in advance and there is no entry fee.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF WITH AN ESCAPE GAME
Hint Hunt is open on New Year’s Day and you can play exciting escape games from 11am. The games include problem and puzzle solving and offer a series of themed rooms for you to choose from. Durbanville’s Peppa Jack’s will offer the perfect cure for your hangover blues this New Year’s Day by giving you live music and good food. Jesse Clegg will be performing at Camel Rock in Scarborough on the first day of the new year, ending off his annual “Here and Now” summer tour.
