You might not know (we certainly didn’t) that Sunday, 30 April 2017 is National Alpaca Day and The Alpaca Loom in Paarl is inviting you to celebrate it with them and their wooly charges. Get ready for a day of intense cuteness and playing with baby alpacas!
There are not too many alpaca celebrations in the area, ever, so don’t miss this golden opportunity to get up close and personal with with some of the fluffiest natives of South America. Guests will be treated to alpaca views, petting opportunities, shopping alpaca products and even meeting baby alpacas. The caretakers of the alpacas are also hosting barn tours to show you where the alpacas sleep and teach you a little bit more about these mysterious foreign animals. The tours will run at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

The kids will love this interactive event as it involves play time on their awesome jungle gym, getting to pet real alpacas and even getting their hands on some delicious baked goods from the Alpaca Loom. They also sell alpaca products which include clothing made from their very soft fur, blankets, rugs and scarves. The best thing about an alpaca scarf is that you know that the animals at The Alpaca Loom are well looked after and loved.
Celebrate our new favourite occasion at The Alpaca Loom in Paarl for a day of adorable babies, yummy cakes, and family fun.

TICKETS FOR THE 2017 NATIONAL ALPACA DAY AT THE ALPACA LOOM
Entrance to the National Alpaca Day events are free of charge. There is a cost, however, to go on the Alpaca Barn Tour and it’s R10p/p.
For more information, please contact the organisers directly on +27 (0)84 793 3666 or drop them an email - info@alpacas.co.za.
