Harfield Village Street Carnival 2011

Second avenue goes huge


The Harfield Village Street Carnival is an annual event that falls on the last Saturday of November. The festival epitomizes the quirky village.

Highlights of the carnival include over 150 stalls (just in time for Christmas), live music (there will be a reggae band somewhere in the mix) and crèche facilities. The focus of the carnival is Second Avenue which is home to a number of bustling bars and restaurants. 

The carnival continues well into the night and during the day is the ideal family activity.
