Inventive small plates best explored with a wine pairing
Trance lovers, get ready for a tricked-out party of note. On Friday, 30 November 2012, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Nervo are hitting Cape Town shores for the first time and are guaranteed to provide a stomp-fest at the swanky Mother City haunt, The Side Show (formerly The Fez).
This jam packed, explosive event is billed as Double Vision and features these two big international headliners never seen before on our shores at one of the most tripped-out, plush clubs in Cape Town. What could be better than a supersized helping of trance-laced awesomeness? A side helping of Cape Town’s freshest DJs, Chris Jack, Nick Supply and the beautiful Vanessa Holiday, of course.

More about the headliners
Belgian-born brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are shooting stars in the ever-expanding galaxy of trance. In just two short years they have gone from playing small clubs in Belgium to headlining shows at the southernmost tip of Africa and everywherein between. The famous twosome are the go-to duo for mainstream artists who want their tracks remixed to give them commercial club appeal. One of their most notable remixes is of the chart topper “Marry the Night” for the queen of pop and the Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga – at her personal request.
The beautiful blonde twin sister sensation, Nervo, is not only a pleasure to watch but great to listen to too. This Australian act has taken the world by storm with more symphonic prowess than most blonde jokes would like to give them credit for. One of their biggest hits that exploded onto charts worldwide was the Grammy award-winning smash track “When Love Takes Over” by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland, which they co-wrote.
Tickets for the Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike Trance Concert at The Side Show
