We all know that the work week can feel like a routine, and often what we bring to the office for lunch can be similarly predictable. But if you want to add some much-needed variety to your daytime meal, look no further than a tasty burger and beer special that is run by The Piano Bar, a New York inspired eatery-cum-bar based in De Waterkant, every Tuesday.

The scrumptious deal, which is available from 3pm - 10:30pm every Tuesday, serves up any of the delicious burgers on the menu (pizza's too) with a free 340ml Black Label (which can be swapped out for a soft drink).

And The Piano Bar, which sits comfortably on the corner of Jarvis and Napier Street in De Waterkant, is no stranger to specials as each day of the week is sprinkled with a sweet deal! In light of this, we are convinced that this inner city haunt is a great spot for penny-pinchers to indulge a little.

There are currently three weekly specials that are worth the mention:

• There’s a 2-for-1  happy hour (from 4pm to 6pm) that applies to cocktails, wine and tequila
• Every Monday, the Piano Bar hosts Date Night. For R280 diners get four tapas dishes and a bottle of house red or white wine
• Enjoy a fun day on Sunday with half price bubbles

Moreover, the Piano Bar has become well-known for its steady offering of live music in the evenings. From sultry background piano music and vocal infused sound, to Afro Latin nights, this jazzy eatery has a lot going for it to make it the perfect spot for either a lunch or a relaxed dinner.
