The OBS Fest 2007 will take place in Obsevatory Cape Town on the 1st and 2nd of December.
Obz Live will have a stage for 2 days featuring Cape Town and South Africa's emerging urban youth bands with genres including hip hop, soul, rock, funk, ska and reggae.
More than 40 bands will be performing at this year's festival.
Obz Chill is an acoustic 'stage' with the focus being on chilling out in Obz public spaces and parks.
Obz Film along with Encounters Film Festival will feature South African films and documentaries at various venues in Observatory.
Obz Kids is a designated safe area for parents attending the festival with their children with vasious activities to keep the kids entertained.
Obz Lazy Sunday will feature the best of South Africa's urban jazz scene.
Obz Market, an old favourite of the Obz Festival, will have food vendors, clothing and crafters.
Obz Street Bands are an important part of the festival, celebrating Cape Town's street and marching bands, recognising their contribution the the city's cultural heritage.
Obz Digital brings a digital platform element to the festival, utilising cell phone & web technology to create and encourage interaction between the festival, audience, artists and brands supporting the festival.
Obz Art includes a focussed Art and Craft component including exhibitions, craft market and a festival spraycan art project.
