The one and only Lionel Richie to perform one concert in Cape Town this November

Lionel Richie, the former Commodores lead singer and world famous solo artists, will be performing concerts in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town this November coming.

This five-time Grammy winner said he is excited about the tour coming to South Africa.

"Africa holds a special place for me and I am anxious to come home and give something back to all the fans that have supported me and my music over the years," said Lionel Richie.

After leaving the Commodores, Lionel Richie embarked on a successful solo career, with his most popular songs coming in the 80’s including "Truly", "Hello" and "All Night Long".

The concert tour will kick off in Cape Town on November 22 before moving to Durban on November 25 and wrapping up in Johannesburg on November 28.
