This space is for the bold and innovative. On the exposed brick walls, you’ll find Ben Franklin’s portrait muted with brushstrokes or an old-school map graffitied with hot-pink “Bitch please…” The decor embraces the modern and cheekily eschews the past, making it an inspiring, creative environment. 

Naturally, the space has a focused buzz. It’s the ideal working location for remote workers, freelancers and those who want to leave distractions behind.

BOOK NOW AND GET THESE SPECIALS  

You can either buy a fixed desk (R3 500 per month, excluding vat) or a coworking unlimited membership (R2 000 per month, excluding vat). 

The fixed desk will be exclusively yours and you can decorate it as you wish - bring a comfy pillow or put up a framed picture. A coworking unlimited membership will give you access to the general space and facilities, and you won’t have a fixed desk. You can sit under the bougainvillea trees in the courtyard or next to the big windows and watch the bustling street outside. 

There are month-to-month or long-term memberships. There’s a benefit to booking a long-term membership in February: You’ll get a free coffee every day for the rest of the month. That’s a big saving!

You can also book boardrooms, which is great for freelancers, online teams or teams that just want a break from the office. 

Six-seater and 20-seater boardrooms are available, and can be booked by the hour, half day or full day. Bonus: Book a boardroom in March and you’ll receive a free day pass to the coworking space.

WORK, MEET AND EAT WITH THESE PERKS

Ideas Cartel + is loadshedding-proof: The wifi and electricity stays on all day long. There’s also a pretty courtyard surrounded by bougainvillea, which makes for scenic work surroundings or a nice spot for a business lunch. 

Order coffee and breakfast from the café or stay for lunch and after-work drinks (the café stays open until 7pm from Thursday to Saturday). If you’re a member you can access the gym, too.
