Five Reasons To Service Your Car At Barons Cape Town VW

Join the family, test drive an e-golf, and say goodbye to hassle

Barons Cape Town Dealer Principal Kevin Pillay is turning the image of the car dealership on its head by doing everything he can to turn the schlep of servicing your car into, believe it or not, a pleasure. “We’re readapting the dealership model,” says Kevin.

“We want to be the best in service in Cape Town,” he says, by treating customers like family who stick together. “We pride ourselves on being approachable at the highest level. We’ll answer your emails, which is why there is no pre-recording when you call, and we’ll always be fair, by listening when you raise issues.”

Here are more benefits of being part of the Barons Cape Town VW family.

SERVICE ON SATURDAY AND CHOOSE BETWEEN 14 COURTESY CARS
“When I work on Saturdays, my experience with customers is completely different. They are more engaged, more relaxed and less rushed,” says Kevin. Noticing that, Kevin opened his dealership for services on Saturdays.

There are 14 courtesy cars that you can use when you book your car in. Although anyone can use them, essential service workers and people over the age of 50 get first dibs.

To make the experience truly unique, Kevin launched the CapeTownMagazine.com Inner-City Experiences last year (which are not available at the moment due to Covid-19 concerns). Customers who booked a service for Saturday, got a courtesy VW up! to use to drive to any one of the 15 experiences curated by us, CapeTownMagazine.com.

STAY AT HOME, THEY’LL PICK YOUR CAR UP
If you are over 50, Barons Cape Town VW can pick up and drop off your car when you book it in for a service to lessen your exposure to Covid-19. So now you won’t need to leave your house, plus your car will be sanitised before it’s returned to you.

For the convenience of not being in and out of traffic, you can take your car in for a Saturday service, which is open from 9am till 1pm and can be booked online.

DROP OFF YOUR CAR FOR AN EXPRESS SERVICE
It’s all about flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Why do customers have to go super early in the morning for a service and get stuck in traffic picking it up when an express service can be done in an hour, Kevin wondered? At Barons Cape Town VW, you can drop off your car for a service in the afternoon, and the service will be done in an hour and a half. There’s free wifi and coffee to keep you comfortable.

ONLY PLACE IN CAPE TOWN TO TEST DRIVE E-GOLF
There’s an exciting arrival at Barons Cape Town VW: Cape Town’s only VW electric car. Book your own car in for an hour-long express service, and while you wait, take the VW e-Golf for a spin around Cape Town. It’s the only place in town where you can test drive this magnificent car of the future.
