ABSA PSL: Cape Town City vs Free State Stars

The Citizens will look to showcase their attack against Free State Stars

Cape Town City and Free State Stars will go head to head at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 at 7.30pm, in what is sure to be a riveting match.

the last time these two played each other it was a four-goal thriller in the Free State on 29 August last year. It was a topsy-turvy game in which the Citizens took the lead through an early goal by Matthew Rusike, before the hosts overturned this lead with two quickfire second-half goals. Stars held onto this lead for 33-minutes, but the resilient Cape side fought until the end, scoring an equalizer with virtually the last kick of the game. 

This sets the next game up nicely and it will be interesting to see just how Benni McCarthy sends his team out for the mouthwatering encounter.
