The fourth Cape Derby will see the Mother City football supporters divide their loyalty when Cape Town City face off against Ajax Cape Town on Friday, 19 January 2018 at 8pm.

The last time football fans were this excited for a Cape Derby was when ‘the people’s team’, Santos, were still in the PSL during the 2011/2012 season. This time around, Cape Town City completes the Cape Derby – and they have definitely made a lasting impression on football fans in the Mother City. Benni McCarthy will be in charge of his second derby and the excitement around this is already apparent. Thousands of football fans will flock to the world-class Cape Town Stadium for this nail-biting encounter.
