BACKSEAT IS BETTER KNOWN AS THE CABIN

The driver seats can swivel backwards to face the row of seats behind it. There's also a fold-out table underneath the kitchen unit, which can turn the backspace area into a comfortable five-seater dining space. Plus, if you swivel the front seats forward again and stow the table back under the sink, you can then fold the back row of seats down to create a cosy bed extension. While four kids, or two adults, can rest inside the campervan another two can sleep up top in the elevated rooftop bed.

This modern-day rooftop campervan bedroom is built for any season. The manually-operated pop-up roof bed has a clever sprung bed base with an opening at the front and two windows on the side to welcome a fresh summer breeze. You can also manage the heating system with a programmable air parking heater for the chillier winter nights by the driver's seat below.

The Western Cape is known for its bevy of beautiful places, so it makes sense if you'd want to have dinner or lunch outside to enjoy the views. The California Coast's extendable roof and stowed away camping chairs makes this really easy. The only tricky part is choosing which sunset or picnic spot to park off at. The camping chairs also won’t take up any unnecessary space. You can pack them away in a storage compartment at the back of your multi-van.
