Make sure people can put a name to the face during lockdown by ordering customised personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face masks and hand sanitisers. In order to save lives (as well as their business) during the COVID-19 epidemic, Cape Town car rental company AroundAboutCars has decided to diversify by establishing the AroundAboutMasks project. They want to do their part, too, so for each large order they receive, AroundAboutCars will donate masks to a good cause. Plus, CapeTownMag readers get a 10% discount.



PUT YOUR BRAND ON A FACE MASK
AroundAboutCars will add your company name or logo to reusable or disposable masks (available for adults and kids) as well as face shields and hand sanitisers. There’s a minimum order of 100 masks for the disposable kind, but for cloth masks you can order as few as 10 (or over 5,000 - it all depends on what you need). The masks come in adult and kids’ sizes, so you can protect the whole family. AroundAboutMasks are handmade in South Africa, and delivery is available worldwide. 

HOW IT WORKS
Simply choose the products you want, as well as the quantity (and size, if you’re ordering masks), and send AroundAboutCars the logo or image you want printed on the masks. You’ll get an invoice and a print proof to check, and once payment is made the masks will be delivered to your door in about seven days (international deliveries will take longer). 

Reusable masks are priced from R10 (€0.50). If you mention that you’re a CapeTownMag reader when you order, you will get 10%. Place your order on the AroundAboutMasks website.

BUY MASKS AND AROUNDABOUTMASKS WILL DONATE SOME
For every 100 masks you purchase, AroundAboutMasks will donate two to God’s Grace Child & Youth Care Centre in Langa. The organisation was founded in 2005 as a response to increasing numbers of children on the streets of Langa, and it provides a home environment filled with protection, love, and support to children from the community. They need personal protective equipment to keep staff and the children safe.
