Middle Eastern Mystery at Bazique And Wolfkop Weekender’s Dazzling Alcazar New Year’s Eve

Welcome 2019 during a magical, immersive art experience hosted at the foot of Table Mountain

Brought to you by festival powerhouses Bazique, Wolfkop Weekender and Lucky Fish, this Middle Eastern-inspired New Year’s Eve party has a few tricks up its sleeve. Be whisked away into a magical Arabian night, where immersive art experiences, experiential partying, dress ups, performance art, VIP options and more are just a hint of what you can expect to experience on 31 December 2018, 4pm–4am at The Paddocks.

Did we mention the fire dancers, 3D-printed and video-mapped building facia of an Arabian fortress and two main stages at the foot of Table Mountain? Oh yeah, you’re going to want to see this for yourself.

The 12-hour party will boast the Bazique Stage as the main outdoor stage, a large-scale art piece, never been seen in Cape Town before. The second stage will be set within a heritage building – the Wolfkop Ballroom will be an electric experience of tunes created by the Wolfkop crew served with avant-garde performance art.

You can look forward to Alcazar becoming an annual New Year’s Eve event and the organisers plan to feature a different theme each year. This year (you guessed it) is Arabian Nights. Create your best “Eastern-inspired extravagance” and desert fantasy. Dressing up is encouraged, but if you’d prefer to come just as you are, make sure you make up for it in festive spirit.

And when you get hungry, there’ll be gourmet food trucks and bars to purchase drinks and eats from on the night. Lots of them.

Tickets range from R350pp–R600pp according to which phase you purchase your ticket in. These standard tickets offer full access to the Alcazar experience, but if you’re feeling fancy, there are VIP options available.

VIP Experience passes range from R500pp–R1000pp according to the phase you purchase your ticket in and include: access to the raised VIP Bar and seating area overlooking the main dance floor, champagne bar and secluded tables.

Private VIP tables and tents for 10 people range from R24 000–R30 000. These spaces are exclusive and very limited, to reserve your area contact Alcazar on +27 (0)79 521 1995.

See what else you can experience this New Year’s Eve.
Don’t miss another awesome experience from Wolfkop Weekender at the Lilo River Flow.
