A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
Summer concerts at Kirstenbosch Gardens are a definite highlight on the Cape Town events calendar. And don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out why with SA’s favourite music acts and one on the sprawling lawns of one of the world’s top three Botanical Gardens.

Sunday 1st January – Mango Groove:
Mango Groove and lead singer Claire Johnston have a career that spanned a turbulent time in South Africa’s history.

Sunday 8th January - Plush / The Graeme Watkins Project
Cape Town based melodic rock band Plush consist of Rory Eliot, Emelio Gassibe, and Carl Wegelin. Plush was formed in 2003 and soon had a number of national hits.
The Graeme Watkins Project released its first album, Corridors of The Mind, in March 2011, which has already led to two top 10 hit singles.

Sunday 15th January – Johnny Clegg:
Johnny Clegg is a dancer, anthropologist, singer, songwriter, academic, activist and French knight. Clegg is an icon of South African music. Tickets: Adults R100p/p | Youth (6 -21) R75p/p | Botsoc R90p/p

Sunday 22nd January - Dan Patlansky / Natasha Meister:
What Dan Patlansky can do with a six-string Fender Stratocaster at this young age, most critically acclaimed guitarists will never quite achieve in a lifetime. Natasha Meister has become SA’s very own Blues Queen in the two short years since returning from Canada to her ancestral home in Africa.
