In-store tastings and a unique wine selection in the suburbs
Wine Tonight? Yes, of course. It’s a question that also happens to be the name of a boutique wine store in the Southern Suburbs. Located at Belvedere Square in Claremont since May 2019, Wine Tonight? will soon be opening a second store on Mains Avenue in Kenilworth.
12 JUDGES BLIND TASTE YOUR WINES
At Wine Tonight? a wall in the store is dedicated to their “Panel Picks”. The range of wines that make it to the Panel Picks board is chosen by an independent panel of 12 judges who blind taste up to 80 different wines every Monday night – and effectively help customers feel a little less overwhelmed when picking a good wine. The wines on the board suit every budget, ranging from R80–R350 a bottle.
WINE TASTINGS EVERY WEEK
Wine tastings are offered for a few hours, generally from Wednesday through the week and weekend. You’ll have to keep tabs on their Facebook page to stay up to date with their tasting times. Discover wines you never thought you’d enjoy and find out which flavours and dishes will suit the wines you buy from their handy section of tasting notes on the Panel Picks board and guidance from their wine enthusiasts in the store.
