This new café in the Northern Suburbs is une part de bonheur (French for “a slice of happiness”). Selling traditional croissants, galettes and crêpes with a South African twist, it is the perfect hangout spot to meet friends or to take the kids.

Spoil the family with freshly made crêpes, a round of putt-putt, or book it for a special occasion. This is Voilá Café & Crêpes.

DINE IN A FRENCH-STYLE CAFÉ

Indoors the atmosphere is cosy. The space is decorated in bright blues and reds, and there are hanging plants and French-style windows. This French-retro vibe is accentuated by striped booths against a light blue wall, a statement wallpaper and bar stools, perfect for rainy days.

ENJOY CRÊPES WITH A TWIST

Voilà specialises in traditional French crêpes, both sweet and savoury. Indulge in classic cinnamon and sugar, Nutella or a savoury ham and cheese (all savoury crêpes are made with 100% buckwheat, which is naturally gluten-free). You can also opt for the South African-inspired melktert crêpe.

Not in the mood for a crêpe? Voilà also serves toasted sandwiches, as well as other freshly baked goods. Enjoy a cup of coffee with a classic croissant, pain au chocolat or brownies.

TREAT THE KIDS 

Voilà is the perfect spot for a family outing. With a 18-hole miniature golf course adjacent to Voilà, kids can enjoy a round of putt-putt while parents enjoy their food (or they can join in too).

Kids can also build their own crêpe, with toppings including Nutella, Oreo Cookies, speckled eggs and marshmallows. The space is also available for birthday parties, baby showers, kitchen teas and other special occasions.
