Broadway brilliance on Cape Town’s ...
Fast-paced musical full of disguises, drama and delightful chaos
Understanding The Great White Shark with Mike Rutzen will be hosted by none other than the man himself. In conjunction with Shark Diving Unlimited, and joined by Marine Biologist Dr Sara Andreotti, the presentation will be taking place at the glamorous One and Only hotel on Thursday, 25 May 2017. This will be an educational and inspiring talk you’ll never forget.

South Africa was the first country to lawfully protect these majestic creatures from being hunted or worst;extinct. Even in 1998 when they tried to push for the great white shark to be legally hunted again, South Africa stood firm on its decision to protect the beauty of the earth.
This talk will include the behaviour of these misunderstood animals and the work our country, and so many other countries who’s joined the fight against the great white shark’s extinction, are doing. To protect something or stand in agreement of the protection of something is to firstly understand what you are protecting; hence educating yourself on this matter is a must. There is still so much research that is and will be done on this aloof giant of the sea, as research on the great white shark only began in 1998 in none other than South Africa

So recognise that we are the front runner in the protection of this amazing animal, let’s do more by joining Mike Rutzen on the 25 May 2017 and engage in this needed discussion to prevent the extinction of this beautiful beast. Afterwards guests can indulge in a scrumptious buffet dinner (excluding drinks) where they have an opportunity to have an informal conversation with the speaker.
