Bikers Doing Good For Kids
The 36th Annual Cape Town Toy Run Motorcycle Charity Ride & Event in 2018
Every year Capetonians in Harley-Davidsons and Ducatis collect teddies and toys, strap them to their bikes and ride through Cape Town for charity.
The Cape Town Toy Run has collected 17 079 toys and donated them to over 500 orphanages, hospitals and needy communities.
It also almost didn’t happen because in the past few years the event has been running at a loss. To help keep the event running there is now a small entry fee for the spectator's event where Kurt Schoonraad will be performing live and there will be plenty of food stalls.
Take the family to see the bikes and support the Cape Town Toy Run.
The 36th Annual Toy Run Cape Town Motorcycle Charity Ride & Event takes place on Sunday 18 November at the Killarney International Raceway in Table View.
There are two official start venues for the ride: Grand West or Grand Parade, where you ride for free and drop your donation at the Killarney International Raceway in Potsdam Road in Table View.
Riders can pre-register for free at Quicket. Entry to the spectator event area is R30, and children under 14 enter for free.
