The Tsoga Environmental Resource Centre in Langa in many ways contributes to the community of Langa, for instance by facilitating youth programmes revolving around life skills, training, job creation and environmental education.

Like most townships in South Africa, Langa struggles with environmental issues as pollution and waste problems. One of the components of the Tsoga Environmental Centre is for instance a recycling unit. Every day, people can collect waste from the streets and exchange it for a small sum of money.
From Tsoga Environmental Centre you will be taken on a walking tour through Langa, during which you will be introduced with the culture, the way of life and of course the people of South Africa's second oldest township.
