THE REAL SUNDAY PICNIC EXPERIENCE

Gather the gang and head to Kirstenbosch, in Newlands, to watch your favourite movie in the great outdoors. Featuring classics such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding and newer movies like Rocketman, The Galileo's line-up is extensive so you'll find something, whichever genre you prefer.

THERE WILL BE FOOD AND DRINKS ON SALE, TOO

Arrive early so you can explore the various food and drink vendors that will be on site. You’ll find everything from juicy chicken shawarmas, cheesy pizza and, of course, popcorn and other snacks traditionally found at the movies. Also, you'll be able to buy alcoholic drinks.

• The Galileo Open Air Cinema picnic Sundays are Covid-19 compliant, so the venue will accommodate a limited amount of guests

• There will be family-friendly movies shown over the school holidays

• Bring cash, as not all vendors have scan-to-pay or card facilities
