Keep the Party Going with the Sunday Blues

Sunday doesn’t have to mean your weekend is over, let the Sunday Blues will help you end it off the right way

January can prove to be a difficult month as you have just gone back to work after the wonderful festive season and feel like a proper send-off is in order - this is why you should check out the Sunday Blues at OneUp in Long Street on 7 January. The event is free and you are encouraged to bring along your friends to enjoy a summer’s day out on the town.

Sunday parties have become the norm in Cape Town and the Sunday Blues promises to keep this tradition going. There will be vinyl and guitars all around with the line-up including Taleswapper, B-Sides, Holy Funk, the Robfather and more. A selection of beers, wine and cocktails will be on sale.

ABOUT THE VENUE

OneUp Rooftop Garden Balcony Bar and Lounge was first opened in 2012 and is located on 226 Long Street - just above Fiction. This trendy spot boasts a selection of single malt whiskeys, gins and cocktails, sporting an excellent view of the city as well as Table Mountain. The venue is ideal for electronic music lovers as the DJs from the Mother City get you stomping.
