Help Secure The Future Of The Performing Arts At Summer Gala

An evening of music, dancing and dining and the launch of an exciting new membership programme

One of South Africa’s best-known dance companies, Darkroom Contemporary, is holding a fundraiser. This company has been delivering innovative, cutting-edge performances and developmental initiatives in the arts and youth development sectors for nine years.

DINNER, WINE, DANCE AND JAZZ
Enjoy a four-course African contemporary dinner menu created by the My Kitchen Rules TV show contestants, Gomotsegang Modiselle and Oginga Siwundla from The Hot Skillet. Each course is carefully paired with delectable wines from the Goede Hoop wine estate.

For your entertainment, jazz singer Charlette Dickson will be performing, along with contemporary dancers from the Darkroom Contemporary theatre.

DARKROOM CONTEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMME
At the event, Darkroom Contemporary is launching its new membership programme. It’s a rewards programme offering members access to exclusive benefits and behind-the-scenes access to Darkroom Contemporary. The programme contributes to the sustainability and impact of the organisation within the performing arts arena. Membership rates start at R120 per month and if you sign up on the night, you’ll be entered into a lucky draw to win fabulous prizes.

All funds raised through the event contribute to the success of Darkroom Contemporary’s development initiatives.

TICKETS TO THE SUMMER GALA
The event takes place on 26 October at Youngblood Arts & Culture Development’s Beautiful Life Building. Table bookings are available and tickets cost R425 per persona at Quicket.
