Search For the Face of Nando's

Nando's to launch Western Cape's own Spice Girls group with a twist

Move over Victoria Beckham! Nando’s Western Cape is searching until the end of November for their own Spice group consisting of Mediterranean, Lemon & Herb, Mild and Peri-Peri to represent the brand for a year.

We are looking for people who are already Nando’s fans and who share our values of passion, pride, integrity, courage and family. Having a bit of a cheek will also put a person in good stead! More precisely we are looking for sultry Mediterranean stylistas, spicy hot chicks and mild and mellow urban cowboys. Members of the public can get involved by voting for their favourites and telling us who they think should be chosen,” said Guy Le Ray-Cook, General Manager for Nando’s Western Cape.

The chosen winners will receive a contract to work part-time for Nando’s and will be paid to be out and about living the essence of the brand. They will be given VIP tickets to events, kitted out with Nando’s gear, loaded with products, partake in the Nando’s quirky missions and loads more.

The competition is open to males and females over the age of 18 and registration for the competition begins on the 3 November until 1 December 2009.

The contract will run for one year from date of signing, in December 2009, and all participants in the competition need to live in the Western Cape.

The winning ambassadors will need to agree to have their photos and profiles released to the media and represent the brand. The winners will be paid an hourly rate of R120 when promoting local restaurant marketing initiatives.

The winners will receive tickets to selected VIP events where they will be expected to represent the brand. The winners will need to commit to be available to attend a minimum of two events per month.

The winning ambassadors will need to commit to using social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs to document their experience.

Entrants will be notified if they have made the shortlist by 5 December 2009.

For more information, log onto the Face of Nando’s Facebook site, search for the Face of Nando’s. To enter submit a photo of yourself that you feel showcases why you fit with Nando’s personality and tell Nando’s why you think you are the best person for the job.

A shortlist will be published on the Facebook site at the end of November and members of the public can vote for their favourites.
