Cosy Up At This Super Secret Silent Cinema On Clifton 3rd
Discover the secret to this silent pop up cinema on the beach when they reveal the screening on the day
Join the Silent Cinema by the Sea pop-up on Sunday, 6 May 2018 for a novel movie night experience on Clifton 3rd.
The unique event is presented by Silent Events SA, Pop Up Cinema and The Sun Exchange and sounds like it is going to be one of the best ways to spend your Sunday night. The movie will begin at 7 pm, and all tickets include wireless headphones that can be used throughout the evening.
The movie scheduled for this Sunday has not been revealed yet, but organiser Julia Swarts says: “We want everyone to come out for the experience and not fixate on which movie will be screening. We do promise though it will be a family-friendly animation, for now, that is all we are giving away”.
Before settling in for the movie, everybody is encouraged to take part in the silent disco sunset dance, which starts at 4 pm.
Bring your own pillows, blankets, picnic baskets, and anything else that will make the movie experience more comfortable and cosy.

Pre-sale tickets cost R100/p but you’ll R120/p if you opt to purchase your ticket at the beach on the day. The entire family is welcome.
