By now, I am sure that most of you are already sceptical about how well someone from Scotland can man a braai stand. Well, you’re about to find out! On Sunday, 27 August 2017 Kaapzicht Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is playing host to a Bottelary Hills Winemakers Pop Up Lunch which will see Chef George Jardine take the lead at this fire-side braai.
You’ll be able to enjoy the delicious dishes he whips up on while sitting at tables surrounding a roaring fire (you’ll be thankful for this in chilly Stellenbosch). The ingredients for the meal will be locally sourced and they’ll be plenty of vino too. Guests will also have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the winemakers responsible for the sensational wine offering.

The Bottelary Hills Winemakers Pop Up Lunch series sees wineries in the Stellenbosch region host a variety of meals at their respective wine farms. The Bottelary Hills region embodies true hospitality, sensational wines and family legacy, and these events are no different. For each series, which happens once a year, one chef is selection to coordinate the series and present the best experience possible.
Now a little more about the head chef for this series George Jardine; he is a Scottish chef whose namesake restaurant, Restaurant Jardine, in Stellenbosch, has been met with public excitement. He has a passion for freshness and flavour as his dishes focus on hero-ing one ingredient and making sure the plate works in harmony. We cannot wait to taste what he cooks up at the latest installment of the The Bottelary Hills Winemakers Pop Up Lunch series.

TICKETS TO THE 2017 SCOTTISH BRAAI AT KAAPZICHT WINE ESTATE IN STELLENBOSCH
