A long winter holiday calls for someplace indoor that’s super fun for kids (toddlers and teens included) and a breeze for parents. Rush is loaded wall-to-wall with trampolines, foam pits, a Ninja Warrior course, climbing walls and extreme dodgeball. And the Unlimited Winter Rush special, where you get unlimited jumping Monday to Friday until 12 July, makes this the ideal family-friendly indoor winter activity.
Rush is an indoor trampoline paradise for kids and teens of all ages. Image: Rush
Rush is 2 000 square metres of trampolines and exhilarating indoor play. There’s huge foam pits to land in after jumping in the air, and at extreme dodgeball, two teams use trampolines to launch and dodge balls.
The Ninja Warrior obstacle course is where kids and teens leap, swing, hang, and climb to freedom through four lanes of diverse obstacles. The inflatable airbag guarantees a soft landing for ninjas in training.
And on the Battle Beam, kids can arm themselves with padded batons and duel opponents to see who can keep their balance on the beam the longest. Kids can also challenge friends on one of four climbing walls – one of which is a UV-lit dark tower to raise the stakes.
There’s free wifi so parents can catch up on work while the kids play. Image: Rush
Rush also has dedicated Toddler Time for kids and babies under four years old on Fridays and Sundays from 9am to 10am (R160 per session); and offers a toddler and parent discount of R200 per session anytime.
There’s also glow-in-the-dark cosmic jump sessions which take place on Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8pm. This is great for teens, especially since there’s a DJ booth with pumping music.

The indoor play and trampoline park’s Unlimited Winter Rush special is R215, with unlimited access to all jumping activities from Monday to Friday. Let’s say you jump for three hours – that’s R72 per hour. Normally, one hour of indoor play costs R160.
When the kids aren’t jumping, there’s a halaal-certified café at Rush where you can order hotdogs, wraps, sandwiches, and muffins. They also have free wifi and plenty of charging points so parents can work remotely, overlooking your children while they play. Or, sit back and relax in one of the secluded work areas, knowing the children are under safe supervision of Rush staff.
Rush has a Social Sundays special (R160 for a two hour session) which runs from 4pm - 6pm every Sunday. Image: Rush
Rush has different party packages which include popcorn, sweets, bottomless slushies and more (starting from R345 per person for two hours). All party packages include non-slip jump socks, a gift voucher for the birthday child and coffee for parents.
The trampoline play park also hosts team buildings (from R220 per person for one hour), staff parties, year-end functions, and much more.
Rush’s Party Catering is an optional extra. See more information on the Rush Claremont website.

Bookings for Rush Extreme Sports during the school term and school holidays can be made on the Rush Claremont website.
General admissions are R160 per hour for kids five years and older, R260 for two hours, and R200 for a parent and toddler pass.
Non-slip socks are vital for enjoying the trampoline playpark, and can be bought inside for R40. You are also welcome to bring your previously purchased Rush socks. Don’t have Rush socks? You can swap your current non-slip socks for Rush ones at a small cost.
Rush can be found on Level 3 in Stadium on Main. Image: Rush
