A wine festival with a difference; intimate, unique, mouth-watering, informative and more, the SLOW Food and Wine Festival presented by the Robertson Wine Valley offers a personalised experience for wine-lovers the world round. Celebrating the finer things in life, but enjoying it at a sedate pace, the festival will be indulging attendees for its 13th season, proving once again that quality will always stand the test of time.
Generous, warm and welcoming, the fest is all about taking pleasure in simple joys, whilst being immersed in country charm and local delicacies. Running from Friday, 9, to Sunday, 11 August 2019, the decentralised event traverses 25 of the top wineries and guest houses in the Robertson, Ashton, Bonnievale, Montague and McGregor regions.
Characterised by each farm’s special, personal touch; Robertson Slow champions local, honest, hearty food and wine, and good old-fashioned rural hospitality. As there’s so much to taste and experience, visitors are urged to make a whole weekend of it in order to properly appreciate what Route 62 has to offer.
SUBLIME FOOD AND WINE
Guests can look forward to fine traditional country fare ramped up a notch, and paired with exceptional local vintages. Each venue offers something different, and visitors will be met with a variety of dining options to suit every pocket.
