There’s a ribs special in the CBD that’s making Tuesdays a definite work-from-town day: all-you-can-eat ribs at the RBG Bar & Grill at the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore, for R300 per person from 12 to 8pm. That’s a buffet of slow-cooked pork belly ribs, basted in smokey sweet BBQ sauce, to feast on for lunch or dinner.

WALK TO YOUR LUNCH-HOUR RIBS SPECIAL

How many ribs can you eat in your lunch-hour? The Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore is conveniently located a few minutes from the Cape Town International Convention Centre and a short stroll from many of the CBD’s major office buildings. 

So if you’re in the office for the day or in town for a meeting or conference, you won’t waste time in your lunch-hour getting to and from the ribs buffet, which opens at 12. Ribs are served with fries for your first helping (after that it’s just the ribs).

OR TRY A DIFFERENT LUNCH OPTION FOR UNDER R100

If your lunch date or co-workers aren’t into ribs, they’ll find something on the Quickbite Lunch Menu. Bonus: all Quickbite Lunch Menu items are under R100 and available daily from 12 to 5pm at RGB Bar & Grill.

EAT RIBS WITH YOUR AFTER-WORK DRINKS

Skip the traffic after work on Tuesdays and go eat ribs instead – you won’t have to cook dinner or wash up, and your drive home will be quick and stress-free. The all-you-can-eat ribs buffet happens every Tuesday night until 8pm. Once you’ve had your fill, you could head up to the 11th floor for a cocktail or glass of wine with a view at Harald’s Bar & Terrace. (We highly recommend the Cosmopolitans.)

• 06:30 to 10:30 for breakfast
• 12 to 3pm for lunch
• 6 to 10pm for dinner
