Vistas of open valleys and natural beauty. Whether it’s for the scenery, the running experience or a chance to improve your seeding for the Two Oceans Marathon, the PPC Riebeek Bergmarathon, happening 3 August 2019, is a must-do event for ambitious, casual and newbie runners alike.
ROUTE OPTIONS
The picturesque PPC Riebeek Bergmarathon offers participants four exciting distances. Experienced runners can test themselves on the 42,2km marathon or the 21,1km half marathon. Novices and casual runners can join the fun at a more relaxed pace with the 10km run/walk or 5km fun run/walk. The fun runs are really about having a good time and you can use them as an opportunity to dress up and play the fool.
GIVE ANOTHER RUNNER SOME RUBBER
The PPC Riebeek Bergmarathon is aimed at growing the sport of running in the area. As such they’re encouraging runners to assist them by donating a pair of running shoes on the day. These shoes will be handed over to one of the local schools in the Riebeek Valley.
DO THE FAMILY THING
The PPC Riebeek Bergmarathon is all about bringing together seasoned athletes, families, friends and communities. There will be a host of activities for all including stalls with fresh produce, kids' entertainment and a live broadcast by Goodhope FM.
