Kick-start your day the right way with a fun morning workout at a new pop-up exercise programme, hosted by Women's Health magazine, called Chase The Sun.
It’s happening at the Val de Vie Estate in Paarl on 11 May 2019, the day before Mother’s Day.
WHAT’S ON THE PROGRAMME
According to Amy Hopkins, managing editor of Women’s Health, the idea for the workout is to get outdoors and “celebrate your body.” It’s a fun morning workout that kicks off at 7:30am and consists of breathing exercises, body positive stretching, pilates and body-conditioning, plus a dance session to close it off. Hopkins says the workout is intended to be fun, not high intensity: “As the seasons change, people lose motivation to work out. This is a fun way for them to reignite their passion for exercise.”
CELEBRITY TRAINERS
You won’t be trained by just any old so-and-so. Leading fitness influencers will be running the sessions. This includes names such as Seugnet Esterhuizen (warm up), qualified ballet teacher and pilates instructor Fiona Barford (tone and sculpt) and Ceri Hannon (closing dance session), fitness presenter and national product development manager for Virgin Active SA.
REFRESHMENTS AND GOODIE BAGS
All participants will also receive a goodie bag containing a limited edition workout vest, yoga mat, snack from Montagu and a Cryotherapy voucher.
Coffee and water will be available on arrival and you can also get something from the Val de Vie restaurant after the workout. 
TICKETS TO CHASE THE SUN
Tickets cost R299 for a single entry and R520 for besties tickets, i.e. for you and a friend.
