Expert Advice on Finding Power Through Pain

Good Enuf Enterprises are creating a safe space for women to learn new trauma coping skills

Take part in eye-opening, real conversations and learn new coping tools to derive power from the pain post-trauma at this women’s empowerment workshop.

Phoenix Women - Power Through Pain, hosted by Good Enuf Enterprises, takes place on Saturday 31 August 2019 1:30pm–4:30pm.

WHAT WILL THE WORKSHOP COVER?
Tackling the mental health and personal issues that women face every day caused by trauma, but don’t talk about, attendees will have access to industry professionals who specialise in post-trauma.

These include Trauma Centre, which offers trauma counselling and violence prevention services for people affected by violence, Pragtig, a natural skin and hair product whose mission is to make women feel more beautiful and Alpha Youniverse with Aakifah Hartley, a wellness organisation to help people reach their goals.

WHAT DOES THE DAY LOOK LIKE?
Light snacks and refreshments will be served through the day.

The money raised from the event will go towards funding the ongoing bullying presentations and other community initiatives.

Note that children are not allowed to attend the event.
