Exciting things to do in Brackenfell

Last Update: February 24, 2017

Spend a day in Brackenfell and enjoy the wonderful activities the area has to offer, Brackenfell is one of those places people are not keen on visiting since nothing much is ever said about the nice things you can do here. The area might seem quite and dull but there are a lot of fun things you can do here, if you enjoy some physical activities you can visit the Brackenfell Sport Arena or the Lockdown Paintball Park. For those who prefer sitting back and enjoying the moment, you can get some 3D action at Ster Kinekor IMAX or the Bracken Nature Reserve and admire what Mother Nature has to offer.

Besides the wonderful things you can find in the area, Brackenfell is surrounded by amazing places with a lot of things to it is also the gate way to the winelands. If you ever find yourself in Brackenfell here is what you can do. You can access from major roads such as N1, R300, Old Paarl Road and Bottelary Road.

Brackenfell is situated on the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, the area is a gateway to the Cape Winelands. Brackenfell offers schools, sporting facilities, shopping mall and medical services. Bracken Nature Reserve - situated in the Ruwari area was declared a nature reserve, after some negotiations between the City of Cape Town Cape Council and the Stellenbosch Divisional Council. The suburb was established in 1913, Brackenfell was once a major crossing road during the earlier years of Cape Town. Brackenfell and Kuilsrivier use the CF prefix for registered vehicles, the prefix was formerly located for Grahamstown.

Both the food and the coffee are amazing, if you are going to explore the area you need a meal that is worth your money. Food and coffee are not the only things that will impress you about this place, the interior has hints of modern punk steam.

When you are done with your breakfast you can start with your activities.

Hostile Paintball

Such places will remind you of the goodness of life and how wonderful all life forms are. Don’t forget to take pictures!

After the activities you will need something to fill you up and get you through other activities you might find interest in.
