One Man Stand Comedy Show at RLABS in Retreat

Laugh along with Dennis Stander as he uses comedy to share his journey through the struggle of addiction

Catch Cape Town comedian Dennis Stander at RLABS in Retreat on Wednesday, 28 and Thursday, 29 March at 7:30pm as he delights the audience with a unique brand of comedy.

Stander uses the art of scriptwriting, poetry, songwriting and, of course, comedy to spread the message of peace and hope after battling a three-year crystal meth addiction. He communicates these struggles through his reflective comedy show, One Man Stand.

The production has been performed at various theatres in the Western Cape, including the Baxter Theatre and the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone.

The show takes you on the journey through the life of a man whose search for his identity takes him down a road of trouble and misery. Through addiction, losing friends and reaching what feels like the end of the road, will this comedy end in tragedy or hope?
