From burlesque entertainment to top-tier dining, Mavericks unpacked
Last updated: Monday, 1 December 2025
When the city starts to wind down at midnight, the good vibes keep going until 4am at Mavericks.
We are not just talking about over 100 gorgeous dancers, performing on one of five stages or up close and personal - this includes the DJs, the bar and, for many, the highlight… dining.
Whether you are craving a fine meal after a long night or looking to unwind with drinks in perfect company, you won’t be disappointed at Mavericks Revue Bar.

While most venues close their kitchens around 10pm, Mavericks is a rare find with late-night food. From platters of light bites to filling meals such as burgers and steaks, you are in for a real treat.
A star of the menu is the wagyu beef burger made with premium wagyu and topped with bacon, camembert and caramelised onions. The bacon adds a bit of salt and crunch, and the camembert gives it that rich, creamy finish. The full menu is available until 4am from Monday to Saturday.

Tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, the steaks at Mavericks are a late-night food must-have that prove that you can have a fine dining experience well past midnight.
Their small plates also hold their own against the bigger dishes. The sliders are easy to polish off, while the chicken lollipops hit that perfect balance of sweet and sticky that makes them feel like a real comfort snack.
If you’re in the mood for something lighter, there’s sushi too. The salmon and tuna are always fresh, and the rolls are light enough to snack on between shows but still satisfy that craving for something fresh.

There are “fantasy shows” on stage throughout the night. Star performers, with unmatched poise and grace, have everyone in the house focused on their every move.

Mavericks offers a fully stocked bar with premium champagnes, wines, whiskeys, cognacs, brandies and armagnacs with a selection of cocktails to choose from.
Live DJs maintain the atmosphere between shows with a great mix of familiar dance hits, upbeat techno and groovy hip hop.

The bar prices are reasonably priced in line with other Cape Town nightclubs. Image: Mavericks Revue Bar
If you are craving a slower pace, Mavericks also features a dedicated cigar lounge. With a humidor stocked with premium cigars, it’s the perfect spot to relax after dinner or between performances.

Open Monday to Saturday from 7pm to 4am, Mavericks stands out as one of the few places in Cape Town where the food, drinks and performances don’t slow down by midnight. It’s a must-visit for those who want their night to continue long after everyone else goes home.
