Paris Hilton and Benji Madden enjoy Safari at luxury Game Reserve

Over the Easter weekend, Aquila Private Game Reserve, near Cape Town, hosted Paris Hilton and boyfriend Benji Madden along with the Good Charlotte band members, to a weekend of Big 5 safari adventure during their South African visit.

Celebrities Hilton and Madden checked into the much sought after luxurious Honeymoon Suite at the Game Reserve close to Cape Town.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden enjoyed extensive private game drives, rare Khoi San rock art and got up close and personal to the large herds of game in this unspoilt Big 5 territory.

The celebrity pair were also introduced to Aquila’s highly successful cheetah conservation programme.

This programme forms part of the reserve’s many conservation efforts in the interest of cheetah survival worldwide that highlights the plight of the free ranging big cat and their critically diminishing numbers.

Recently Aquila was honoured by Chris Mercer the National Director of ‘Campaign Against Canned Hunting’ by presenting the owner of Aquila – Searl Derman - with a ‘CACH ETHOS Certification’ due to Aquila’s high standards of lion conservation.

Searl Derman said “we are proud that over the years, Aquila has become the chosen place for A list celebrities and VIP’s to hide out and experience a Big 5 safari while visiting Cape Town.”
