The coffee stop in the middle of nowhere

Look out for giant stacks of hay that make up Morale Coffee To Go

It’s good to know you can get a drink and something to eat, even when you’re in the middle of nowhere. Giant stacks of hay mark the spot of Morale Coffee To Go, where you can get everything from coffee to frozen drinks, breakfast buns and boerie rolls. It’s open every day of the week.

STOP AT THE GIANT HAYSTACKS

Morale Coffee To Go is truly situated “tussen niks en nerens” on the R44 between Hermon and Wellington. Giant haystacks create a real country vibe, plus there are chairs set out where you can enjoy your coffee with a stunning view of the mountains. This hidden gem is a must-visit if you're driving by. Or use it as the perfect excuse to escape the city and take a road trip to this Instagrammable spot.

GET A DRINK “TUSSEN NIKS EN NERENS”

The choice is wider than coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Morale Coffee To Go also serves a variety of frozen drinks, called Frios, in flavours including mango, strawberry, passion fruit, chocolate, and hazelnut.

DON’T LEAVE HUNGRY

Besides serving refreshing drinks, it also cooks up a storm for breakfast and lunch. Get a breakfast bun stuffed with bacon, eggs, and fried onions, or opt for a hot dog or “lekker” boerie roll with red-onion-and-tomato relish.
