Love & Light brings you a summertime day party not to be missed

The beat goes on for the seventh installment of Love & Light, the ever-popular trance party to celebrate the annual summer solstice. This edition, taking place on Saturday, 23 December 2017 will see the Ostrich Ranch, just outside of Cape Town, transform into a festival playground.

For the first time ever, this festival is taking place at a new venue and with this new territory comes new energy – all we know is that this is set to be a stellar production second to none.

Love & Light is pulling out all the stops, boasting a bigger and better dance floor, inviting you to stomp your heart out. But wait, there’s more! Partygoers can take refuge from the summer heat by cooling off in the dam at the venue.

WHY THIS DATE IS SO SIGNIFICANT

During the summer months, the beautiful Mother City has an endless supply of parties to keep you busy. But what makes this event special is the fact that this particular date was chosen to align with the southern summer solstice which takes place on 21 December 2017 (the longest day of the year).

The sound is central to any trance party and with the line-up as listed below, this summer gig is sure to be sensational.

FABULOUS FASHION AT THE SUMMER SOLSTICE EDITION OF LOVE & LIGHT

Bring along your sense for fashion, and some cash, as you’ll definitely find some gorgeous garment gems at the hippie market at the event. Some of the city’s best boho-chic fashion designers have been selected to showcase and sell their wares at the market. You might even find a new outfit to dance the night away in!

The Early Lover tickets are already sold out but Lover tickets at R300/p and Late Lover at R350/p are still available. Bus tickets are also available at R100/p (excluding entry cost).

The Ostrich Ranch is a quick 25 minute drive from Cape Town:

• Take the N7 towards Malmesbury
• Take the Van Schoorsdrif turnoff and follow the signs to The Cape Town Ostrich Ranch
