Hosted by the annual showstopper, House of Wine, this event is in celebration of both winter and wine. The fabulous event is happening in St Herbert Baker’s historic building at 6 Spin Street on Saturday, 24 June 2017.

A favourite for wine-lovers in the Mother City, House of Wine has been an annual sell-out experience of fine wine and food. Expect an afternoon of delicious wine and cheese tasting backed by the smooth tunes of electro jazz and, of course, scrumptiously hearty food in the company of your favourite fellow wine enthusiasts. Apart from the aforementioned awesomeness, this event is the perfect opportunity to stock up your personal wine cellar as there will be wine on sale for cellar prices, which means cheap-cheap! The varietals on offer will be those more suited for colder weather, which means they’ll be perfect for getting you through the winter chills.
The Sir Herbert Baker building, in which 6 Spin Street is set, dates back to 1902 and boasts several inter-leading rooms that exude exquisite restoration and timeless beauty. High ceilings, parquet flooring and well-thought embellishments make for a high-end interior and a luxurious ambience. Exquisite art pieces adorn the walls leading up to a space that functions as a gallery in its own right.

TICKETS FOR THE 2017 HOUSE OF WINTER WINES AT 6 SPIN STREET
Tickets cost R230 and are available for purchase at Quicket.co.za. Your ticket gets you a booklet of wine tasting coupons to use as you please, a delectable spread of cheeses and breads from the harvest tasting table and access to enjoy the electro-jazz. Admission is for patrons of only 18 years and older. The event runs from 2pm until 7pm.
