Trance heads, pull up your stomping boots for an epic opskop: the Groovy Troopers trance party gurus bring the intergalactic beats with another slick trance party (and celebrate Earth Hour) at an outdoor location situated in the scenic Groenberg near Wellington from Saturday, 28 to Sunday, 29 March 2015.
This outdoor electro party-lover’s ultimate fantasy is situated just 80km outside the Mother City with bubbling brooks, breathtaking mountain views and plenty of lush land for camping. More importantly, the stomping calendar highlight features badass cosmic beats dropped by international psy-trance icons, namely The Outsiders, and proudly South African export, Cape Town local Rinkadink bringing progressive psychadelic tunes, as well as red hot mixes from Mzansi’s own turntablists.
This time around, the stomp-fest will be partaking in Earth Hour – the global initative raising awareness by switching off lights around the world for a single hour. So do note, the trance jol lights will go off for an hour from 8:30pm until 9:30pm to help save energy!
State-of-the-art sound equipment and original artwork and installations complete this kaleidoscopic experience and, as always, a fully stocked bar and food stalls will be available on site to keep revelers fuelled for fun!
