The Cape Town International Jazz Festival’s (CTIJF) Free Community Concert is taking place on Wednesday 25 March 2020 and has another stellar lineup in store. The concert takes place on its traditional spot at Greenmarket Square and starts at 4pm.
The concert gives music lovers of all tastes an excuse to dance and celebrate, and forms part of the festival programme at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
THE 2020 LINEUP: LIES, SHARP SHOOTER AND SCARY MONSTERS
In the spirit of making the finest jazz music accessible to the Cape Town community, this free concert is held annually and features top acts alongside fresh talent and high school bands. Artists taking to the stage this year will include soulful UK duo MF Robots; singer, songwriter and multiple SAMA winner Lady Zamar; and Cape Town’s own Grammy nominee, Jonathan Butler.
They’ll be joined by the CTIJF All-Star Band, which is made up of a selection of school learners from the Sustainable Training and Development programme, as well as Wynberg Secondary School’s band, and the Scottish Leader Battle of the Bands Winner, which is still to be announced.

Admission to this awesome event is gratis, mahala and absolutely free of charge. The concert starts at 4pm and runs until midnight.
