Expect all-new pizza and dinner menu, milkshakes and ice cream at Folk Cafe’s new beach-style restaurant in St James
Popular Bree Street (CBD) coffee and lunch spot, Folk Cafe, just got a sexy sister eatery in St James. How sexy? Come find out for yourself this weekend, they’re launching it with bottomless bubbly and free pizza for kids, every day this weekend. Check out Folk Cafe St James:

DREAM OF THE BEACH
“It’s been a dream of ours to have a beach-style concept restaurant for years,” says Folk Cafe co-owner Leeanne Heald. “The area has a nice beach vibe and a huge garden, so we were able to build a big kids play area.”
And, what a space it is. For those who know False Bay, Folk Cafe St James is now in the old Octopus Garden spot.

WHAT’S NEW AT FOLK CAFE ST JAMES
Leeane and husband Laurence call it a “beach-style concept store” because it’s a little different from the inner-city coffee shop of the original Folk Cafe.
“We’ve expanded our dinner menu and brought in pizza. And, for that real beach flavour, we’re doing speciality milkshakes and ice-cream. Combine that with the big space and kids play area, and we’ve got something really exciting that people should come and check out.

MUST-TRY ON THE MENU
Apart from the pizza, we’ve been told to try the new Mexican burger for something spicy. And then there’s Folk Cafe’s brisket bun, a slow-cooked brisket served with potato salad and brioche.
